Hi friends,
As you may already know, every week I share a five-minute voicenote with whatever’s on my mind in the moment, because more often than not it’s something you’re thinking about too.
But here’s the thing: after I send one out, the real magic often happens in the conversations it sparks with my friends. Those back and forths are sometimes even juicier than the original voicenote. So I thought, why not bring you into those conversations?
That’s how Voicenotes From A Friend Live was born.
On Friday, I kicked things off with my dear friend, Ally Bogard, and today I’m sharing that conversation with you.
Together we dug into Voicenote #12, where I talk about building a women’s commune, navigating what it means to grow older, and the choices we’re making now to set ourselves up for our later years.
So let me ask you: what do you want life to feel like when you’re 80?
Ally and I dreamed about our own visions, including a women’s commune. We also talked about why starting the work of community, connection, and joy now is the best gift we can give our future selves.

If, like me, you can’t get enough of Ally’s wisdom, subscribe to her Substack for beautiful, free resources like her guided meditations. Make sure to also check out her website for her current offerings. Her upcoming series, Weathering The Storm: Somatic Regulation, is powerful work. No one holds space quite like Ally.
